James married the love of his life, Joey Devine, in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 17, 1989. James lived in the Ozark community for 14 years. He loved to ride motorcycles and listen to music.

James is survived by his wife, Joey Harmon; son, Joseph Harmon of Ozark, Missouri; daughter, Tracey Harmon of Ozark, Missouri; daughter of Ashley Harmon of Ozark, Missouri; daughter, Kelley Roy and husband Todd of Ozark, Missouri; daughter; Allie Johnson and husband Parker of Ozark, Missouri; son Robert Harmon of Ozark Missouri; son, Michael Harmon and wife Tiffany of Ozark, Missouri; two brothers, Thomas Harmon and Kenneth Harmon; eleven grandchildren, Kristyn Wetzig, Melinda Roy, Athena Roy, Zoey Roy, Owen Johnson, Asher Johnson, Graysen Harmon, Maddox Johnson, John Roy, Calista Roy and Hazel Harmon; his father, James Harmon; and his mother, Nancy Waller and husband Jim.

Graveside services will be March 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Row Cemetery in Colcord, Oklahoma
