Joan Kirby Sutton, 75, of Ringgold, passed away on March 23, 2022. She was born in Chestertown, MD on January 29, 1947, daughter of James Robert Kirby and Helen Elva Lauderbach Kirby. She was married to the late Benjamin Roger Sutton. Joan was a faithful Pastor's wife during her husband ministry. She later worked at the North Village Pharmacy in Yanceyville. She was a member of the Tabernacle.
Survivors include a daughter, Kim S. McVay (Mike); a son, Stephen Sutton (Kristen); four grandchildren, Abbey Sutton, Wyatt Sutton, Emily McVay and McKenize McVay. She was also predeceased by two brothers, James R. Kirby, Jr., and Richard Manning.
Burial will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
