Robert Lee Morgan
November 24, 1950 - March 11, 2022

National City, CA ---
Robert Lee Morgan, 71, from National City, passed away on March 11, 2022. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and many friends who were always entertained by his stories and great sense of humor.

Robert (Robo) was born in National City on November 24, 1950. He was the third and youngest child born to Kile and Donna Morgan. He graduated from Sweetwater high school where most of his energies went into playing sports. He earned a BA in Communications from Chapman.

His good nature, wit, and bigger-than-life personality made him the perfect mixologist. While bartending at Mom's Saloon in Pacific Beach, he met the love of his life, Renee Johnson. They got married in 1981 and moved to Chula Vista where they raised their two daughters, Kelee Faye Morgan and Krystee Lee Morgan.

Robo had a huge and generous heart. He was "for everyone" and beloved by all who knew him.

Robo is survived by his two daughters and their husbands, Krystee and Fernando De Souza and Kelee and Chuck Vail; his brother and sister-in-law, Kile Jr. & Judy Morgan; his sister, Janice Hawken; his nieces, Nicole Johnson and Loree Durham; and his in-laws, Glenn and Faye Johnson. He leaves behind seven grandchildren: Dominick, Ethan, Kaiya, Bria, Gavin, Jordan, and Chevelle.

Robo filled our lives with joy and laughter. His famous one-liners will live on through family impressions and continue to bring smiles to our faces.

Services will be held at Glen Abbey's "Little Chapel of Roses" on Monday, March 28th at 1pm with a viewing beforehand from 10am-1pm. Hawaiian vacation apparel or sports attire encouraged. A "celebration of life" reception will follow the service at the Chula Vista Golf Course.
