There were nine children born to this union, six boys and three girls: Warren, Benjamin, JR, Lillie Mae, Fred, Mark, Elizabeth, Dorcas, and Ivie D. The Flemings stayed in Kentucky until sometime before 1900, where they are listed on the Census in Montague, Texas. In 1910 they were in Hobart, Kiowa County, OK.
Sarah died in Hobart in 1911. She is buried in the Hobart Rose Cemetery, where William joined her in 1923.
