Mary Turner Richardson, 84, of Leesburg, GA, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held at Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1:30 pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:30 am - 1:30pm in the funeral home Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Mary was born to the late Warren Franklin Turner and Ida Elizabeth Hewell Turner on February 19, 1938 in Meigs, GA.
She married Tim Morris Richardson on July 22, 1971 in Thomaville,GA, and gained three daughters.
She worked as an LPN for Archbold Medical Center and Whispering Pines Nursing Home. She was very spiritual and knew her bible, and made sure that her family knew the Lord.
Survivors include; her daughters, Lisa Cannon of Leesburg, GA, Denise Cates of Leesburg, GA, and Lenora Hurst of Ochlocknee, GA, brothers, Robert Turner of Athens, GA, and William Turner of Whitney, Texas, and a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Morris Richardson who preceded her in death on December 18, 1999.
