Lee Roy Brown, 84, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, February 11, 2022. He was born June 7, 1937 in Waverly, TN to the late Jack and Minnie (nee Wright) Brown.

He retired after 24 years' service at B&W and was a Veteran of the United States Army where he was an MP and served in Germany. He loved woodworking and taking walks.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Emogene Brown, Carl Brown, Nancy Jones and William "Bill" Brown. He is survived by his sons, Scott and Donald (Kim); grandchildren who called him "PePa", April, Erica, Collin, Trevor (Mary) and Lasey; several great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family members, friends who will miss him dearly and ex sister-in-law, Margaret.

A Celebration of his life will be held at a later time at his home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with medical and funeral expenses. Cremation has taken place and entombment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
