Robert Harold "Bob" Garrett, age 81, of Leachville, passed from this life Monday, March 21, 2022, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in La Plata, MD, he was the son of the late Harold "Jack" and Regena Mills Garrett and was a 1959 graduate of La Plata High School in Maryland. "Bob" was a retired machinist with over 27 years of employment at NIBCO in Blytheville, Arkansas. He enjoyed going crabbing, playing softball in his earlier years and drag racing. "Bob" was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Leachville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Linda Ruth Spence Garrett in 1994, 1 son, Kenneth Allen Garrett, 2 brothers, Ronnie Garrett and Bud Garrett and 1 sister Joyce Bowie.

His daughter, Joy Martin and her husband Greg of Paragould

He also leaves 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors Friday beginning at 12 o'clock with Funeral Services following at 2 p.m. at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Jamie Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery. www.howardfuneralservice.com
