On Wednesday morning the 18th, Adam, the youngest son of Adam Dunlap, of the town of Mazomanie, died of inflammation of the bowels after a week's acute suffering. He was about 18 years of age. His sickness was first discovered in severe pains in the bowels, but thinking there was nothing alarming in his condition he continued his work on the farm till prostrated by the increasing virulence of the attack. About six years ago he endured a long sickness which, it was then thought, would terminate in death. The funeral took place from his father's residence on Thursday, the remains being buried in the cemetery near by.
