Phillip L. Miller, 77, Kokomo, passed away at 7:56 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo.
He was born Feb. 11, 1945, in Peru, Indiana, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Deeb) Miller. On Nov. 2, 1974, at Morning Star Church in Kokomo, he married Cynthia D. Grove, and she survives.
Phillip was a graduate of North Miami High School and Manchester College. He retired in 2008 from Chrysler Corporation after 32 years and was a member of UAW Local #685. He enjoyed time with his grandchildren and gardening. Phillip also enjoyed watching Purdue, IU, Pacers and the Colts play.
Along with his wife, Cynthia, Phillip is also survived by his children, Daniel (Annie Meadows) Miller and Kristin (Michael) Goralski; beloved grandchildren, Kaylee and Brayden Goralski; mother-in-law, Patricia Grove; sister-in-law, Debora (Gerald) Hartke; siblings, Joseph Miller and Freda Holzhausen; along with 31 nephews, nieces, numerous great-nephews and nieces.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Fred Grove; six siblings, John Miller, Mary Jo Hann, Harold Miller, Abraham Miller, Barbara Gregory and Edward Miller; one niece and one nephew.
Private graveside services will take place in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery with Matthew Hartke officiating.
