Homegoing service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Interment will follow at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro. Visitation will be held prior to the service Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reid was born in Louisiana on May 25, 1967. She was a member of Word of Truth Christian Fellowship Church in Goldsboro.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Henry A. Reid; her father, Jewell Willis Sr. of Louisiana; two sons, Isaiah Best of Newton, NC and Tyquan Davis-Reid of Goldsboro; God-son, Rahkeem Faison of Goldsboro; three daughters, D'wan Bell of Goldsboro, Brittany Willis of Goldsboro and Aquella Wilson (Daimar) of Wilson; three brothers, Jewell Willis Jr. of Louisiana, Jeffery Willis (Betsy) of Louisiana and Timothy Holden; six sisters, Barbara Norman (Dennis) of Georgia, Thyronda Jones (the late Matthew Jones) of Louisiana, Mary Jones (Jeffrey) of Alabama, Rachell Ghebreyesus (Samuel) of Louisiana, Kimberly Hollins (Christopher) of Texas and Monica Holden of Texas and one grandchild, Donovan Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Gafford Holden.
