Linda Collins Blake, 79, of York, SC passed away at her home and surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
The family will receive friends from 2-3PM on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Filbert Presbyterian Church in the church's fellowship hall. The funeral service will begin at 3 PM in the church sanctuary with Pastor Dave Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Sharon, SC.
Linda was born on December 11, 1942 in Gastonia, NC. She was the daughter of the late James F. Collins and Naomi Pope Collins and was a member of Sharon Baptist Church in Sharon, SC.
Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years, David Glenn Blake, sons, Jeff Blake and his wife, Penny, Tim Blake, daughters, Teresa Parham and her husband, Rick, Crystal Sandifer and her husband, Grier; brother, Keith Collins (Cindy), sisters, Cathy Walker, Wanda Brennan (Paul), sisters-in-law, Polly Ervin (Jack), Patricia Rick; grandchildren: Zachary Blake, Micheala Blake, Blakely Sandifer, and Caroline Sandifer; great granddaughter, River Parkins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy McAllister and her daughter-in-law, Ellen Blake.
