Lucille was born on September 11, 1920, to the late Vernon Goodgine, and Homer Austin. Proceeded in death by her husband Boyd Jenkins, and siblings William Austin, Buck Austin and Louise Beard.
Survived by her son Kensey (Linda) Jenkins, daughters Linda Jenkins and Freda Dorris (Mike), three Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
Lucille was a baseball, basketball and sports fan. She was a homemaker, sewed her children's clothes for years and attended their sport games. She was a devoted member of the South Harpeth Church of Christ which attended for years.
Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm, and Monday March 28 from 9:00am until the Celebration of Life 10:00am. All arrangements to be held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN. 37221.
