She was born in Peru, Indiana on May 19, 1940 to the late Ernest Garner and Mary Elizabeth (Hudson) Garner Thorpe.
Charlotte enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, sewing, spending time with her dogs, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Kimberly (Dan) Minns of Peru, Dani Tornetta of Peru, Steven Timm of Oklahoma, William (Diana) Elliott of Peru, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a brother, Robert Brunat of Houston, Texas, a sister, Sherry Timbers of Peru, and a sister-in-law, Janet Garner of Delphi, Indiana.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Danny Garner.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 1pm-4pm at the Literary Aid Society, 21 West Canal Street, Peru, Indiana 46970.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.
