Louise Virginia Harris was born on April 9, 1941 in Columbia, Tennessee to the union of Jessie and Virginia Harris. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, March 17, 2022

Louise accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Columbia, Tennessee. She was educated in Metro Nashville Public Schools, graduating from Haynes High School, class of 1959.

Louise worked for Metro Public School System for 33 years. She was an avid tennis player, and a loyal member of Hadley Park tennis club for over 40 years. She loved to laugh, have fun and travel with her tennis club. She was honest and an all-around loving person, along with being continuously active on a daily basis. Her loving spirit will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her!

Louise was preceded in death by sisters Mary Mathews and Diane Childress.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her son, Thoreano "Todd" Payne, daughter Phyllis Payne, sister, Leana P, Dawson, nieces, Tammya Haynes, Teresa Childress, Tomeka Gantt, Omar (Kanika) Childress, nieces, Kadesia Gantt, Kari Childress, great nephews, Antonio Crawford, Zacchaeus Crawford, devoted friends, Barbara Moss, Carl Parsons, Barbara Marks-Bryant, Lisa Evans, and Tammy Baker a host of other relatives & friends. Viewing Thursday, March 24, 2022, 1-6, visitation Friday, March 25, 2022, 10-11 with funeral to follow at funeral home. Burial in Greenwood North.
