Obituary for Kerry Beth Williams
Kerry Beth Williams, fifty-eight, passed away on Friday, March 18th at Mercy Hospital with family by her side. She was the wife of Roy Williams, united in marriage on October 20th, 1990, and together they shared thirty-one years of marriage. Kerry was born in Springfield Missouri on September 12th, 1963, to Dr. Monte and Marketa Kahler. She graduated from Bolivar High School in 1981 and then went on to graduate from St. John's School of Nursing Program. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and further obtained her CCRN and PALS certification. She was employed at Mercy Hospital as a registered nurse where she dedicated thirty-five years of service caring for others. She was a member of the Wellspring Baptist Church and attended bible study fellowship in Bolivar. Kerry enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, girls' days with her daughters whom she loved dearly, camping, sudoku puzzles, vacations to the Colorado mountains and the sand dunes. She will be remembered for her selflessness, kindness, sweet and fun-loving spirit, never-ending patience, and contagious smile. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her twenties, but this disease never defined her or slowed her down from living life to the fullest. Kerry is survived by her husband Roy Williams of Bolivar Missouri, daughter Courtney Smith and husband Anson Smith of Willard Missouri, daughter Autumn Williams and fiancé Tanner Stafford of Springfield Missouri, parents Dr. Monte Kahler and wife Marketa Kahler of Bolivar Missouri, brother Kevin Kahler and wife Carol Kahler of Morrisville Missouri, sister Kris Kahler of Bolivar Missouri, niece Alison Hahn and husband Jon Hahn of Mesa Arizona, niece Lindsay Gilden and husband Elijah Gilden of Morrisville Missouri, nephew Stuart Kahler and wife Morgan Kahler of Ogden Utah. We were able to honor Kerry's wishes by donating her body to science for further Multiple Sclerosis research.
Memorial contributions can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory of Kerry. Visitation for Kerry will be held 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
