Sep. 19, 1933, "The Zanesville Signal" - Obituary – Rites Wednesday for Charles Brown – Crooksville, Sept. 19 – Funeral services for Charles Brown, former local man who passed away at his home in East Liverpool will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Surviving are two sons and three daughters; Charles Jr. and Harry of East Liverpool, Mrs. George Thomas, Mrs. Wilbur Fickle, Mrs. William Campbell of East Liverpool. Two sisters; Mrs. Sadie Pettet and Mrs. T. H. Sanborn both of Crooksville. The body was brought to Crooksville Sunday and rests at the Cannon Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held. Burial in Crooksville Cemetery.
