Ronnie "Poppy" Myers age 78 of Gratis, Ohio passed away due to a severe head injury on March 21, 2022 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County. Ronnie passed peacefully with his beloved family at his side.

Ronnie was born at home in Eaton, Ohio on July 7, 1943 to the late Shorty and Marie Myers. Ronnie was a truck driver for Brown Transport for over 30 years. Ronnie who was known to many as Poppy or Pop was a soft spoken, respectable man, and role model to all who knew him. He was a lover of all things outdoors and was an avid fan of the Reds and Bengals. His favorite pastimes were watching his teams play, working in his yard, spending time with his family, and mushroom hunting. He loved his wife Nokie and all of his children and grandchildren unconditionally. To know him was to love him as he was the most amazing man to all that knew him.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his son Ricci, his parents, his brother Dale and his two bonus sons Glenn "Bud" Chasteen, and Shane Chasteen. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Nokie Gevedon Myers, 5 daughters Joyce (Mark) Miller of Camden, Lori (Don) Layton of Eaton, Mary (Jay) Lakes of Lewisburg, Debbie Chasteen of Eaton, and Karri Myers McKamey of Tennessee, and 1 bonus son Bill (Jeanie) Chasteen of Kentucky, 14 plus grandchildren and 30 plus great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 1:00 pm until time of memorial service at 2:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services (formerly Lindloff Zimmerman) 113 S. Ada Doty Street, Gratis, OH with Pastor Bryon Gevedon officiating.
