Carbon Monoxide Intoxication: The medical examiner's office ruled suicide by carbon monoxide intoxication in the death of a man found Wednesday morning lying in the back seat of a 1981 Buick sedan that was parked in a vacant lot at West Avenue and West Rhapsody on the North Side.
The body of Charles Wiltzius, 57, of 901 W. Silver Sands was discovered about 10 a.m. by two men who were preparing to clear the field of construction waste.
A vacuum cleaner hose had been taped in the car's exhaust pipe and strung through an open rear window of the vehicle.
