GREENWICH, Conn., March 3—Robert P. Noble, founder in 1916 of the Life Savers Corporation, a candy maker in Port Chester, N. Y. and its former president, died today of heart failure in Greenwich Hospital. He was 92 years old and lived on Round Hill Road.
Control of the company was acquired in 1955 by the BeechNut Packing Corporation and Mr. Noble became vice chairman of the board of BeechMut‐Lifesavers, Inc.
He was a 1903 graduate of Purdue University.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. Robert P. Noble and Edward J. Noble; a daughter, Mrs. Margaretta N. Serrell, 16 grandchildren, and 12 great‐grandchildren.
