Norma Jean Nunnikhoven was born January 23, 1938, to Dick and Alice (VerMeer) Langstraat. She passed away on March 6, 2022, at The Cottages in Pella.

On June 20, 1957, she was united in marriage to Henry Lee Nunnikhoven at the Central Reformed Church in Oskaloosa. To this union they were blessed with four children. Norma was a housekeeper and housewife who milked cows and dressed chickens. She had a large garden and did a lot of canning. Norma worked for the Pella Schools hot lunch program for a few years, and Central College housekeeping for 25 years. She then cleaned private homes for many years.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Mabel Ryken, Lawrence Langstraat, Ralph Langstraat, Richard "Junior" Langstraat, Marilyn Kent and Raymond Langstraat; granddaughter Michelle Comstock, grandson Michael Comstock, and great grandson Benjamin Nunnikhoven.
