Mrs. Carla Jean Watson, age 67, of Fulton, KY passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born on October 2, 1952 in Owensboro, KY to the late Boyd Bates and Nancy Miller Bates.

Carla was a member of the Chief Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mayfield, KY and was a homemaker. She lived all of her life in this area.

She is survived by a daughter Nancy (Gary) Nottingham of Leitchfield, KY, three grandchildren: Rachel Johnson of Murray, KY, Tyler Nottingham of Leitchfield, KY and Lori Cook of Bowling Green, KY and onegreat-granddaughter, Lilly Cook of Leitchfield, KY.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, James Lee Johnson, eight brothers and four sisters.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 following her son Mr. James Lee Johnson at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
