Helen F. White, 87, of Caledonia, IL, died peacefully, March 18, 2022, at her home where she wanted to be. She took great pride in spending her golden years on the farm she was born on. She was born in Caledonia on April 26, 1934, daughter to Francis Joseph and Marcia Frances (Garner) Schmitt. She graduated high school and married her sweetheart, the late Royal A. White on December 31, 1953, in Poplar Grove, IL. She took on many jobs but her career was in the education system as a Lunch Aide. She attended Hunter United Methodist for many years. Helen was active with the 4H Home Extension in Belvidere and as a Den Mother for Boy Scouts. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and caring for her home along with those she loved. She cherished spending time with family, and especially loved laughing over memories from the family lake house. She also had a passion for jigsaw puzzles.

Helen is loved and will be missed by her sons, Gordy ( Debbie) White and Russ (Darlene) White; daughters, Kathy White-Wise and Jacqui (Don) Frederick;, daughter in-law, Rose Ann White, sister, Joyce Hogan; grandchildren, Melissa, Jason, Kelsey, Karli, Christina, Rebecca, Jamie, Kassidy, Camron, Cody, Genna; and 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Royal A. White; son, Royal White; and sisters, Donna Gardner, and Betty Chrislaw.
