CORNVILLE- Mark Andrew White, 69, of Cornville, Maine, passed away Thursday March 17, 2022 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Hyannis MA, on October 10, 1952, the son Robert and Carolyn (Bearse). Mark was a graduate of Chatham High School in 1971. Mark married Debbie (Hilbert) on October 12, 1974. Three years after they married they had their daughter Sarah and four years later they had their son Luke.
He began his career as a carpenter on Cape Cod and worked for many years down there even after he and Debbie moved to Cornville in 1981. He moved his carpentry business to Maine and worked side by side with his son Luke until 2015.
Mark was an avid hunter and fisherman, with his brother Joel, who loved the outdoors. He really enjoyed his afternoons playing cards after he retired, with his close friend and neighbor Bill Primmerman. Mark will be remembered for his wildlife carvings and gifting them to family and friends. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents Robert and Carolyn White, ex-wife and friend Debbie, brother Phillip White, and sister Jane Paramore.
Mark is survived by his children Sarah Emery and her husband Dale of Cornville; Luke White and his wife Amanda of Cornville; his grandchildren, Morgan, Hunter, and Abbigayle Emery and Taylor White; his brother Joel White of Cornville, sisters Laura Bouchard of Madison and Sue DiCesare of Dennis, MA, many nieces and nephews and special friends Malcolm and Wendy Tileston, Edward Johnson, Denny O'Neil and many more.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 23 from 4pm-6pm. A grave side service will be held in the spring at the East Ridge Cemetery in Cornville.
