Jon J. Jenkins, 60, of Carey, passed away Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at his home.

He was born Nov. 30, 1961, in San Francisco, California, to the late N. Baxter and Margaret (Blair) Jenkins.

Surviving is his sister, Jane (Dan) Fraver of Fostoria.

Jon was a 1979 graduate of Mercer Island High School in Washington and received his Master's degree in choral and directing of music from University of Washington State. He was currently employed at Meijer Store, Findlay, and was a member of and the organist at Good Hope Lutheran Church, Arlington. Jon loved God and spreading his word, and music was his life. He played for Northwest Ballet in Seattle, Washington, for several years.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Pastor Steve Ramsey officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery, Seattle, Washington.
