Carol Sue Moore 77, of the Cochran Hollow Section in Cedar Bluff, Virginia passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Russell County, Virginia on July 14, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Woody and Leo McCoy. Carol enjoyed going to the beach and finding sharks teeth. She also enjoyed canning, reading, and gardening.

In addition to her parents Carol is preceded in death by one infant daughter Kimberly Ann Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 57 years, Noah Moore, one son, Gary Stewart Moore and wife Debbie Ann; two granddaughters, Megan Elizabeth Moore and Katelyn Ann Moore; one sister, Barbara Ann Presley; one Aunt, Trula Poskas and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 23rd at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, Virginia.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 23rd at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel with Elder Jimmy Moore, Deacon Dallas Brittain Sparks and Pastor Allen Gross officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens Cemetery in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
