DARLINGTON — Funeral services for Christopher Wayne Hopkins, 43, will be held at 3 p.m. today, May 19, 2004, at Landmark Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Richard Sawyer and directed by Kistler–Hardee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Darlington Memory Gardens.

Mr. Hopkins died Sunday, May 16. He was born in Darlington County, a son of the late W. P.Pete Hopkins and Lillie Mae Kiser Hopkins. He attended Landmark Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his mother, Lillie Mae Hopkins of Darlington; one son, Christopher Wayne Hopkins Jr. of Darlington; two step–sons, Roger Wayne Greene of Fort Lawn and Richard Green of Darlington; one daughter, Christina Weaver of Hartsville; one step–daughter, April Green of Lancaster; three brothers, Donnie (Dale) Hopkins, Paul (Rita) Hopkins and Mike Hopkins, all of Darlington; close friends, Wayne Gainey and Paula Rogers, and five grandchildren.
