Cecil Dean Adkins
Born: August 13, 1941, Passed Away: Sunday, August 7, 2005. He was a member of the Collins Knob Bapist Church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a boiler maker. He was 63 years, eleven months and twenty five days old.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Mathias and Dollie "Dequaise" Adkins, One Sister, Bulah Adkins, Four Brothers; Conward Adkins, Raymond (Shorty) Adkins, Mathias Jr.(Speedy) Adkins and Duane (Mickey) Adkins and one Brother-in-law; David Lovejoy.
He is survived by Three Brothers and their wives; Andrew and Glenda Adkins, Guy and Dorothy Adkins and David Jack Adkins, Two Sisters, Fredith and Winford Adkins and Flora Mae Lovejoy, Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be at Koontz Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 11, 2005, with the Rev. K.D. Bragg and Rev. Milo Cummings officiating. Interment will be at the Goldsbury Cemetery in Sias, W.va with military graveside rites by the American Legion Post # 111 Hamlin Wv.
