Catherine "Cathy" Norwood Romero passed away on December 28, 2017. She is survived by her son David and her husband Rafael (Ralph) Romero. Catherine was born to David Denman Norwood and Mildred Need Norwood in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in 1933. She attended Denver University. She was a homemaker, worked as a Cub Scout Den Mother, volunteered for the Denver Botanical Gardens, was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers Auxiliary and attended the meetings of the Denver Oilmen Club. She enjoyed traveling to distant places around the world. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 19, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 E. Kentucky Ave., Aurora, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101 will be appreciated.
