Ricky "Old Man" Wright, 71, of Hoopers Creek, NC passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at his home.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County.
He was the son of the late James and Helen Pressley Wright and was also preceded in death by a sister, Sandy "Flo" Morgan.
He was a member of Fletcher First Baptist Church.
Old Man loved the outdoors, riding motorcycles, four wheelers, dune buggies and drag racing.
He was a good friend and loved by all.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Lindsey and her husband Keith of Hoopers Creek; his cherished grandson, Caleb Lindsey of Hoopers Creek; two brothers, Michael Wright of Hoopers Creek and Tony Souther and his wife Marie of Hendersonville and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 18th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Fletcher First Baptist Church. A service will follow at 1:00 PM in the church with Rev. Bill Brackett officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Hoopers Creek Community Cemetery.
