Eric Robert Jordan age 35, passed away unexpectedly March 15,2022. Eric better known as "EJ", "Uncle E" and "Daddy" lived every minute to the fullest, he lived life his way, and always with a smile. Eric graduated from Whittemore Prescott High School in 2004. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his friends and family and just enjoying life. He was known as a grill master, and always had stories to share. He had a huge heart and loved everyone he knew. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He worked at Big Boy of East Tawas, and formally at Tawas Plating and Coating of Tawas City. He worked hard to play hard. There wasn't anything Eric wasn't willing to try. "You only live once" was a motto he lived by.
He leaves behind his son, John Robert Jordan who referred to Eric as his hero, and John's mother Evaden Whitby, and his parents, William (Rebecca Wilson) Jordan, National City, Julie (Dan) Roll, Ottawa, Kansas. Sisters: Amanda (Paul Schreiner) Jordan, Tawas, Jessie (Brian Lee) Pettinato, Brighton, Rhonda (John) Martin, White Pigeon, Michigan. Brothers: Joe Shannon, Mikado, James Maynard, Oscoda, Rob Russell, Greenville, Michigan and Ryan Russell, Williston, North Dakota. Niece: Katie Jordan, his little "stinkabug", Nephews: William Schreiner, Caden Lake, Christian Pettinato, Nicholas Pettinato. Uncles and Aunts: Mike (Linda) Jordan, Cleveland, Ohio, Dug (Valerie) Jordan, Fife Lake, Michigan, Marshal Jordan, Macomb, Illinois, James King, Pueblo, Colorado, Jane Sadro, Deckerville, Patti (Bob) Evon, Gaylord, and Catherine Cowell, Mackinac Island. Many cousins, and many many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Luella Jordan, and Glenda Bortulin.
Cremation has taken place, a memorial service is planned for Tuesday, March 22,2022 at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City. Visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM with Uncle Dale officiating the service. Eric will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Saginaw next to his Grandparents, William and Luella Jordan, at a later time.
