Milton W. Moore, 77, of Kendallville, passed away on February 28, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 18, 1944 to Ralph D. Moore and Mary (Bickel) Orvileen in Cromwell, Indiana.
Milton is survived by his daughter, Heidi Moore of Kendallville; grandchildren, Nicholas (Zihnar) West of Portland, OR, Tiffani Stidams of Kendallville, Mackenzie Stidams of Kendallville; great-grandchildren, Tayvon, Lillian, Crue, Haisley, Charlotte, Leila and Nora; sister, Joy (Dave) Stahly of Tipton, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Nary Moore; sisters, Mary Kay Williams and Beth Werker.
Milton served in the United States Airforce. He was the recipient of The Distinguished Flying Cross during his time in Vietnam. Milton was a member of the American Legion, Post #381 in Rome City. He loved puzzels, Cincinnati Reds I.U. basketball, spending time with his all of his grandchildren and was a huge supporter of all their sports. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 300 South Riverside Plaza, Chicago, IL 6060.
A time of sharing memories by family and friends will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 12 noon-2 pm prior to the sharing of memories at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Service in Ligonier.
