Services for Edna Mae Tibbs, 62, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur.

Mrs. Tibbs died March 6, 1999, in the local hospital after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 15, 1936, at Tishomingo, to John E. and Ida L. Ashford Sides.

A resident of Ardmore most of her life, she was employed by the city as a clerk at the landfill and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She and Bill Tibbs were married Sept. 21, 1979, in Gainesville, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Ralph E. Dollar Jr. Springer, and Buddy O. Dollar, Pittsburg, Kan.; three daughters, Tami R. Lacy and Paula A. Eddy, Joy, and Kimberly L. Garcia, Purcell; a brother, David Sides, Plano, Texas; six sisters, Pearline Green, Elmore City, Marie Weaver, Roff, Lessie Murphy, Norman, Jerlene Stewart, Oklahoma City, Johnie Sides and Judy Cain, Sulphur; stepchildren, Daryl Tibbs, Marietta, Roy Tibbs and Marlene Bridgman, Ardmore. 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny L. Dollar, in 1965.

Bearers will be Troy Duke, Terry Lewis, Jim Pollard, Joe Fine, Mark Urbansky and Joe Eddy Jr. Honorary bearers are Ronald Eddy, Jimmy Cain Jr. and Nubbin Lail.
