Patsy Kay Young Ross age 82, passed away March 16, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born February 15, 1940 in Hayti, MO, the daughter of the late Wilburn Robert and Carrie Davis Young. She attended Chester County schools and married Bill Ross in 1958. They made their home at Mifflin most of their married life. She worked in the Garment industry at Salant & Salant, Chester Mfg. and retired from Bill Sills Sportswear. She enjoyed riding the bus and going to singings with the Ross Family. "If the bus wheels turned, she was going to be on it". She attended New Friendship Baptist Church.

The Great Smoky Mountains was her favorite vacation spot.

Mrs. Ross is survived by three sons, Barry Ross (Liz) of Humboldt, Tracy Ross (Gina) of Beech Bluff, and Bart Ross (Susan) of Beech Bluff and a daughter, Heather Ross of Beech Bluff; a brother, Tim Young of Beech Bluff and two sisters, Brenda Ross of Henderson and Tina Pollock of Lexington; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Ross in 2005 and a son, Phil Ross in 2013.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 20th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bart Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Mifflin Cemetery.
