Ricky Lynn Carroll, 58, of Warsaw, passed away on March 19, 2022, at his daughter's residence in Kendallville.

He was born on April 30, 1963, in Warsaw to Richard and Jane (Sloan) Carroll.

He went to high school in Aldeen, TX. After high school, he enlisted into the U.S. Army.

Ricky was a police officer with the South Whitley Police Department and retired in 2019.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kendallville, Free Masons of South Whitley and Knights Temple of Fort Wayne. He loved playing guitars and fishing.

He is survived by two daughters, Kaitlyn (Travis Howard) Carroll and Shelby (Cezar) Munoz; one son, Dalton (Malorie) Carroll; six grandchildren, Landon, Jason, Zee, Aiden, Zander and Aliyea; a brother, Terry (Joelyn) Carroll; a sister, Kimberly Carroll.

Visitation will be 5:30 - 7:30, Tuesday March 22, 2022, at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the funeral home, with calling one hour prior to the funeral.

Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
