Leslie, known to many as L.A., was a loved and respected man by all who knew him. He was a member of the United States Air Force where he was trained in weather observation. This led to a lifetime career from which he retired as a Meteorologist from the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration. He was of the Southern Baptist Faith and active in his church.
Married for 62 years, he is survived by his devoted wife Norma Jean (Corby) Watson, daughter Tammy Watson, brother Louis S. We find comfort in knowing that he is at peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
