Judith Terrebonne Anderson

Born in New Orleans, LA, Judith was the first grandchild for both her maternal and paternal grandparents and the first of six children born to her parents, Amelia and Floyd Terrebonne. At fourteen, she moved with her family to Loranger, LA, to live on the family dairy farm. Attending Loranger High School, she graduated valedictorian of her 1960 class. She earned an accounting degree at Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond, LA, and later became a certified teacher of mathematics.
She and her husband Russell Lee Anderson married in San Francisco, CA. Russell's career in the military led them on a world-wide adventure in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Despite the hardships of frequent moves, Judy relished the opportunity to fulfill her life-long desire to travel and see the world. When Russell retired, they settled in the San Diego, CA, area to enjoy their golden years in a beautiful climate.
Judy was preceded in death by husband, Russell Anderson; parents, Floyd and Amelia Terrebonne; brother-in-law, Mark Griggs.
A private family memorial celebration will be held in Louisiana at a later date.
