Gene Carter, at age 95, after a lingering illness has peacefully passed away.
His early life in the Navy was on Okinawa. After his discharge retail business captured most of his working life with Smittys of AZ. for 24+ years. In retirement, he not only showed his Ford Model T's, but also served as the building chairman for the construction of the Sun City West Christian Church.
His wife Donita, son Rocky, daughter Rauna, along with their families are planning a celebration of life at the above church, 20803 N. 151st Ave. 85375, on Mar.24 at 11:00 am. Memorial donations are preferred to S.C.W. Christian Church.
