Harold Ray "Bo" Dixon, 87, passed away March 17, 2022, at St. James House in Baytown, Texas. Harold was born in Diboll, Texas, September 19, 1934, to Minnie Verna and Clarence Francis Dixon.

Harold attended Crosby High School where he played halfback for the Crosby Buffalos until his graduation in 1953. After graduation Harold went to work for JM Huber Corp. in Baytown. He worked several positions while there, with the last being the plant safety technician for fifteen years. He retired in 1991 after 37 years of service. In 1956 he married the love of his life, Martha Ann Lindsey, and they remained dedicated to each other for over 65 years. Harold enjoyed bowling, playing baseball, and deer hunting, but his passions were golfing and traveling all over North America with Martha.

Harold was an active member of the Crosby Church of Christ. He was always happy to help anywhere he was needed. Harold loved the fellowship of his church family and especially enjoyed Tuesday morning breakfasts with the other men of the congregation.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Hubert, Cecil, Joe, and Ray Dixon, and his sister, Dorothy Cox. He is survived by his wife, sisters Doris Gwin and husband Bobby of Mont Belvieu; and Fay Smith of Baytown, several nieces and nephews, and a host of loving friends. The family wishes to extend special thanks to St James House and Faith Community Hospice for the loving care they gave Harold.

Visitation will be held from 12-1 pm, Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521. Funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Committal service will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
