Teresa was born April 23, 1956, in Springfield to the late J.C. and Jewell Rippy Elmore. She formerly worked at South Central Growers and Five Star Manufacturing. She was of the Baptist faith. Teresa enjoyed gardening and being at home. She loved Christmas time and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren that she loved so much. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: David and Timmy Elmore.
Teresa is survived by her husband: Amado Morales Cruz of Springfield, by her son and daughter-in-law: Jamie and Tracie Hyten of Franklin, KY, by her daughter and son-in-law: Sandy and Michael Lane of Pulaski, by her grandchildren: Gaige Lane, Jackson Goostree, and Jaycee Lane, by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Jackie and Judy Elmore of Franklin, KY, Curley and Frankie Elmore of Elkton, KY, Ricky and Melinda Elmore of Springfield, and by her sister and brother-in-law: Carol and Bobby Nixon of Springfield.
