Born, March 11, 1929, in Reading, he was a son of the late Irvin Peter and Matilda Louise (Hensinger) Weaver.
He was the loving husband of Joyce Naomi (Ebersole) Weaver, who preceded him in death on June 18, 2018.
John was employed with Reading Steel Products, as a steel fabricator, for 44 years, retiring in 1992.
He was a member of Goodwill Fire Company Beneficial Association.
John enjoyed roller skating.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda S. Weaver of Laureldale; his grandson, Bradley Rightmyer, and his great grandson, Luke Rightmyer.
John was preceded in death by his four siblings: Kenneth T. Weaver, Harold V. Weaver, Robert G. Weaver and Betty Dilliplane.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022 at 11 A.M., at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Reading. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
