September 16, 1943 – April 18, 2020

Brenda Sue Boyd Blair, 76, of Friendswood, TX entered her heavenly home on Saturday, April 18, 2020 after a valiant battle with ALS. Her devotion to her family, friends and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

She was born September 16, 1943 to Gene Boyd and Ruby Rogers Boyd in Fort Worth, TX.

Brenda was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School in 1961. She and her fellow graduates have continued to gather throughout the years. She attended Midwestern University, Wichita Falls, TX and nursing schools in Wichita Falls and Fort Worth, TX. Brenda began her career as a nurse anesthetist and owned a health screening company for 30 years.

Known as Aunt B to nieces, nephews, and their friends; she took great pride and joy in co-grand parenting, with her sister, and the children of her nieces, both of San Antonio, TX.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Harold Blair, and her parents.

She leaves behind her sister of San Antonio, Texas, brother and wife of Katy, Texas, brother-in-law of Smithville, Texas, and sister in law of San Antonio, Texas, three stepdaughters, two of Seabrook, Texas and one of Houston, Texas, stepson of Houston, Texas and 7 step-grandchildren. Brenda will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. She also leaves behind her 2 precious yorkies that she dearly loved.

She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

Due to current circumstances with the CDC regulations during this Covid-19 pandemic, services are pending at this time.
