Deborah Lowry, 66, died December 3, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life service will be 6:00PM Friday December 8, 2017 at Discovery Bible Church. Debbe was born August 13, 1951 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Johnnie Hart Rodgers and William Bert Rodgers.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband Stanley Neal Lowry in 2008. Survivors include her daughters, Leigh Ann Stacy and husband Gregory Taylor, Lorrie E. Lowry and husband Lou Rice, and Ashley T. Lowry and fiancé Preston Hinkle; sister, Beth Reeves and husband Ronnie; niece, Ginger Fitzpatrick and husband Brian; nephew Michael Collyer and wife Amanda; great-nieces, Kate and Lauren Fitzpatrick, and lifelong best friend, Linda Norton. Debbe was proud to be a graduate of Red Bank High School in Chattanooga, TN, where she was a cheerleader and member of Homecoming Court.
Her true passion in life was taking care of her home and family. Debbe and Stan were happily married for over 13 years. They enjoyed working together in their garden on Saturdays and welcoming people to church on Sunday mornings.
She was a huge University of Tennessee football fan, especially a diehard Manning fan. And she was known to "live out loud" for Jesus. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in her memory to Discovery Bible Church, 4250 Regency Drive, and Greensboro, NC 27410.
