Dollie B. Tinkle
SHOALS- Dollie B. Tinkle, 59, of Shoals, died Saturday at Bedford Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 26, 1935, in French Lick, she was the daughter of Francis and Christina (Butler) Spurgeon. She was a homemaker and had worked at the Sheraton Hotel in French Lick in the early 1950s.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Tinkle of Shoals; three sons, Rick Spurgeon of French Lick, Richard Tinkle and Jason Tinkle, both of Shoals; four brothers, William Spurgeon of Shoals, Junior Spurgeon, Jimmy Spurgeon and Johnny Spurgeon, all of French Lick; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals with Brother Randy Stevens officiating. Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery. Friends may call 4-9 p.m. Monday, and from 8 a.m. until services Tuesday at the funeral home.
