Otto August Barke, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away at his home on March 09, 2022, with his sons by his side. He was born in Billings, Missouri to William and Margarette (Leuzinger) Barke on December 30, 1920. He was the oldest of three children in the home.
Otto married Etta Mae Goodin in 1949 and this union was blessed with three sons and one daughter. He worked for Campbell 66 for over 34 years as a truck driver delivering all around Springfield. Otto loved taking trips to the casinos, bowling and bailing hay. He also loved to dance, he and Etta would tap dance and square dance together.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Etta Mae and a son, Jeffrey Kent as well as his two brothers, Eric Barke and Walter Barke.
Otto was laid to rest at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, with full military honors on March 18th, 2022.
