Frances Rae Harrity, of Harwick, passed away March 16, 2022, after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 18, 1929, to her parents, the late Calvin and Audrey Westover Edwards and has been a longtime resident of the community. She belonged to Our Lady of Victory Church/Guardian Angel Parish, Harwick. As a family they enjoyed camping and drive-in movies. Later in life, they enjoyed time spent at their camp in Tionesta, garage sailing and swimming at the YWCA with friends. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her. Surviving are her loving children, Kathleen (Larry) Fiscus, Deborah (Carl) Hutter, Thomas Harrity, Audrey (Mark) Fair and Phyllis (James) Weiss. Mrs. Harrity is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Harrity and had been married nearly 70 years; one grandson and one great-grandson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St., Springdale, PA 15144, where blessing services will start at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, and burial to follow in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. www.jarviefuneralhome.com.
