Frank M. White, 74
HARRINGTON - Frank M. White passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. He was the son of the late, Homer and Elizabeth White.
Frank graduated from Harrington High School, where he broke many track records including the 100-yard dash and 200-yard dash. He was voted best dresser by his classmates, and continued his stylish ways throughout his life.
Frank was full of energy and loved working. He retired from Acme after 30 years of service in 1994, then went to work for Bennett Security for ten years. Frank also had a detailing service, "Frank's Detailing Service" where he loved waxing cars.
Frank loved sports, dancing, and spending time making art work with glass marbles. He loved his weekly visits with his sister Bea and riding to Milford. Frank loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends. He was a compassionate, insightful man who was always willing to help others. Frank had a hard time telling others no. He had a deep love for his twin sons, grandchildren, and family.
Frank accepted Jesus in his life when he became ill and spent time living with his twin sister, Frances. Rev. Robinson had the honor to call on him. Frank knew the Lord, and would always say, "By the grace of God, I was able to make it another day". His favorite scripture was Psalm 23. On March 16, 2022 God in his infinite wisdom called Frank out of this world to a state of rest until the last day.
In addition to his parents; Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Delilian T. White; two brothers, Phillip White and Frederick White; sister, Phyllis L. White; two step brothers, Wayne Bryant and Don Bryant.
Frank leaves to cherish his memory of life, three sons, Frank Coverdale, Taylor White, and Tyler White; step-daughters, Faith Hollingsworth and Michelle Deputy; brothers, James White (Terri), Nathan Bryant (Leola); sisters, Theresa Bowers, Frances Daniels, and Beatrice Harris (Phillip); grandchildren, Xavier White, Wesley Byrd and other grandchildren; many special nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Frank will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington at 11 a.m. A visitation will take place one hour prior starting at 10 a.m. Internment will follow immediately after at Williamsville Cemetery, Harrington, Del.
