SARGENT-Lockhart, Texas, February 17 - Died, February 15 of cancer of the liver. Mr. J. A. Sargent, aged 65 years. Mr. Sargent, who resided at Dale, was brought into Lockhart recently to [receive] a surgical operation, which was [skillfully] performed, but proved abortive. He was buried yesterday by the Masonic fraternity at the old Bunton cemetery, near Dale.
