Joseph Nathaniel Wilson of Port Jervis, NY died Friday, March 11, 2022 at Park Manor Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. He was 72.
He was born September 29, 1949 in Manhattan, NY the son of the late Joseph Wilson, Jr. and the late Leonora (MacKenzie) Wilson.
Joseph married the love of his life, Marcia Wilson, on July 10, 1988 in Port Jervis, NY.
A family statement read: " Joseph had a good heart, he would do anything for you. He was an amazing athlete in his younger years and an avid New York Sports fan. From Yankees to the Giants, you could find Joe watching every game. He will be truly missed."
Surviving are: His loving wife Marcia Wilson, His sons Charles Wilkerson and his wife Danielle, and Elbert Wilkerson and his wife Rhonda, Siblings Douglas Wilson and his wife Janice, Leanora Washington, Janet Henderson and her husband Tony, Kathleen Scott and her significant other Milton, Katherine Wilson-Phillips and her husband Russel and Desiree Leanard Grandchildren Curtis, Sabrina, Trey, Isaiah, and Courtney, Great-grandchildren Mekhi, Blaze, and Aiden, also many loving nieces and nephews.
Joseph is predeceased by his sister Kim Wilson and his loving cousin Renee Brown.
