Thomas J. (better known as "TJ") Warren, 92, of Fort Payne, passed away March 17, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Warren was born in Dekalb County, Alabama on June 10, 1929 to the late Thomas Jefferson and Minnie Scott Warren. He was a veteran serving in the United States Army and was a member of Allen Memorial Church. He was a retired mechanic who was well known for his small engine repair work.
Graveside services, with military honors, will be at 3:00 P.M., on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Allen Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Chris Crow officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 01:00 P.M. until the 3:00 P.M. hour of service at the Allen Memorial Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations to the Marked for Life Ministries, Hope Center, 2141 Gault Avenue North, Fort Payne, AL 35967
Mr. Warren is survived by his grandchildren, Greg Alan O'Neal (Myra Pate), Amanda O'Neal Whitfield (Matthew Dale), and Justin Cody (Samantha); and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Inez Johnson Warren; and daughters, Cynthia Dale Warren Gray and Anita Faye Warren O'Neal
