Nancy Ann Gray, 81, of Williston, OH, died peacefully, Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in the comfort of her home with her husband by her side after a four-and-a-half-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
Nancy was born to Dorothy and Jim Pollock on August 9, 1940 and grew up in Bono, OH. After graduating from Clay High School, she married Ken Gray on August 9, 1958, and they shared 63 years of marriage. She worked at Lane Drug Store and K-Mart until her retirement in 1998.
During her free time she enjoyed making quilts for her family and for the sick. She found special joy in playing card games, especially bridge and in completing jigsaw puzzles. She loved babies and children, and took pleasure in each addition to the family. She enjoyed music, with one of her favorite songs being "Hello Darlin' " by Conway Twitty. She chose "My Heart Will Go On", sung by Celine Dion, for her final service.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Ken Gray; her son, Tim; sister, Betty (Neil) Kontak; sister-in-law, Laraine Pollock; brother-in-law, James Gray (Linda); sister-in-law, Sister Joy Gray; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friend, her dog Dugan. Nancy was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Jim Pollock and her sister-in-law, Geraldine Gray.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1105 Elliston Rd. Martin, OH, with visitation from 10:00 a.m until 12:00 p.m. in the church narthex. Nancy will be laid to rest at Allen Twp. Cemetery in Williston, OH. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel.
